The Etiwanda School District has a paid subscription for Scholastic GO (formerly Grolier Online)!. This wonderful online research tool provides access to news, images, articles, video, sound, and more. All students in the Etiwanda School District can access Scholastic GO! from school and home for free by clicking on the Scholastic GO! Icon. For home use, you need to obtain the login and password information from your school librarian or you may click here to get the login information for online resources. Please note that the student must be signed into their district/school issued Google account to access this information. Students in kindergarten and first grade should contact their teacher for their log-in. If you have questions, please email district library staff at library@etiwanda.org.
The Gale Virtual Reference Library hosts a collection of eBooks for Etiwanda School District student use at home and in the classroom. These non-fiction eBooks include whole books, articles, and images from Gale, DK, Encyclopedia Britannica and more. Students can also link to their Google accounts to save information, notes, bibliographies and more to their Google Drives. For home use, you need to obtain the password from this document. ProQuest Central Student contains millions of articles from more than 10,000 full-text scholarly journals in science, technology, education, social sciences, humanities, and news.
ProQuest SIRS Discoverer is a general reference database for elementary and middle school learners and researchers
covering reading, language arts, current events, science, social studies, history, health, and technology.
SIRS Discoverer provides editorially-selected, indexed, and curated materials
from over 2,100 newspapers, magazines, and websites offering guided research for young researchers.
ProQuest SIRS Issues Researcher is geared towards upper elementary and middle school students. Thousands of hand-
selected, authoritative newspaper and magazine articles, graphics, charts, maps, primary sources, government
documents, websites, multimedia, as well as critical thinking questions, and timelines help broaden student
